Not only was the food woefully overpriced and underwhelming, but the management proved to be completely unethical. When I used a $200 gift certificate for a $94 dinner tab, the manager refused to give me the rest back - as either credit or cash. I wasn't expecting money back, but certainly credit for future meals. They refused and were rude in the process. Give that they already have the money, this practice is beyond unreasonable and well into unsavory.

If you're in the mood for a lively Bistro atmosphere with excellent food, service and wine, you've got it made at La Sosta. Their gnocchi dishes are excellent as well as their melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon. The Caprese appetizer could be improved upon with sliced vine-ripened tomatoes versus quartered grocery store looking tomatoes AND needed more fresh basil...so if you're picky about your Caprese, stay away from this one.

We went to La Sosta and IMO the place is overrated and the food is mediocre and absolutely overpriced. Not to mention the bad service. I wouldn't return

Outstanding wine list, excellent northern italian cuisine, and the Cutting Board appetizer is absolutely wonderful with a nice bottle of wine! Atmosphere is great too, such a treat to have in the south bay. n*

Food was amazing. Service was very good, and the atmosphere makes you feel very much at home. Its nice to be able to walk to a great spot like this.

La Sosta is such a perfect place for a girl's night out. The food is amazing and there is a really HOT Italian chef working there. Stick your head in the kitchen on the way to the bathroom and check him ou!. :-)

It's a known fact that there is a shortage of good restaurants in the South Bay. Thank god for La Sosta! Not only was my experience wonderful, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. I love wine, but at the age of 23 my knowledge of Italian wines is limited. Luckily my waiter was very patient and incredibly helpful. The ambiance is perfect! The small room is quaint and comfortable. I loved every moment of my meal there and highly recommend

A most disappointing experience overall, despite the good food. The food quality was surprisingly good for the beach cities, but the prices were surprisingly high given the setting. A very noisy, clumsyand chaotic restaurant with staff who seem in total fear of the owner, yet fumble all the time. There is no valet parking. The chef's talents are clearly wasted in this tiny location with this style of chaotic operation and unduly high prices.

La Sosta is enchanting with its candle light and warm friendlly staff. The food is sublime. The seafood cutting board is a wonderful selection of crudita. Rolled swordfish with jiulenne of zucchini, seabass, Santa Babara shrimp and halibut. The typical Venetian dishes are wonderful and the wines very well selected. The dining experience is like a majic trip to Italy. La Sosta is a treasure in a sea of mediorce restaurants.
