The Old Town Music Hall opened in 1922 as a performance theater. In 1958, its owners installed a Wurlitzer organ that was recovered from the Fox Theatre in Long Beach. While small and markedly less ornate than some of its contemporaries, the theater does feature some charming appointments, such as crystal chandeliers. The theater screens an impressive selection of historic films that range from comdey to adventure to drama, with an average of one silent film each month. The silent films are accompanied by the rich music of the Wurlitzer.
